What is a cookie?
We use cookies on this website. A cookie is a simple small file that is sent with pages of this website and is stored by your browser on your device (computer / telephone / tablet). The information stored in it can be sent back to our servers on a subsequent visit.
Google Analytics
A cookie is placed via our website by the American company Google, as part of the Analytics service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this.
We have set up Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly manner based on a manual from the Dutch Data Protection Authority. For example, we have:
- concluded a processing agreement with Google,
- IP addresses are anonymized (the last octet of the IP address is masked),
- we have disabled data sharing with Google and
- we have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.
The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Standard Contractual Clauses are therefore part of Google’s terms and conditions. For more information about how Google handles (personal) data, see Google’s Privacy Policy (which may change regularly).
